VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:

Hello Wonderful Volunteers and Supporters!

Here is the Volunteer Update for this week and coming weekend. I hope to see everyone out this week or weekend around the state.

A special thanks goes to all of our volunteers who helped out this past weekend. We had a full schedule, loaded with events and thanks to our Team O’Malley/Brown Volunteers, we had excellent visibility in our most targeted counties! Everyone is working so hard and the campaign is truly grateful for all of the help. Let’s keep up the good work!

Upcoming Events:

WEDNESDAY- August 30th at 5:30pm AFL – CIO Labor Rally at the Steelworkers Hall, 540 Dundalk Avenue. Come and get your O’Malley/Brown Tee Shirt and help us sign up volunteers and pass out bumper stickers to the crowd.

Tuesday through Monday, September 4th at the STATE FAIR – We have the MD Democratic Party booth inside the exhibition Hall every night this week from 6-10pm and this upcoming weekend all day. Mayor O’Malley will be visiting the fair on Saturday around 6 pm and we would love volunteers to walk around the fair with him while he meets with exhibitors and residents from across the state! Contact Ashley Valis at avalis@martinomalley.com for more information and to sign up.

Attention Eastern Shore Volunteers!!
On Friday, September 1st, from 4 pm until dark, we will be doing a SIGN WAVE all along Rt. 50 between the Bay Bridge and Ocean City. This is a great opportunity to get involved and really help the campaign. We will have wavers at the Bay Bridge, Easton, Cambridge and Salisbury. This wave will be seen by thousands of people heading to the beach for the Labor Day weekend.
Let’s show the whole state of Maryland that the Eastern Shore is O’Malley Country. If you can help, please contact the following people in your area.

Bay Bridge: Frank Kratovil at kratovil@atlanticbb.net or Art Hock at ashlandmgt@verizon.net
Easton: Dan McDermit at mcder@goeaston.net
Cambridge: Cheryl Everman at ceverman@comcast.net
