O’Malley/Brown Renews Commitment to Western Maryland Families with Opening of Regional Campaign Office and Hiring Regional CoordinatorFrederick , MD (June 19, 2006) The O’Malley/Brown campaign, today, opened a Western Maryland Regional Campaign Office and named Kevin Large as the Regional Director. The new office is located at 5 South Market Street in Frederick and will serve the hardworking families of Allegany, Frederick, Garrett, and Washington counties. “The new office is reflective of the great importance we place on Western Maryland,� said Large. “This office will be a hub of activity for those who want to join Martin O’Malley and Anthony Brown in fighting for hardworking Maryland families facing higher energy, health care and college tuition bills.� Large worked with Delegate Anthony Brown in Annapolis, where he helped in the fight for a higher minimum wage and affordable health care last session. Signs of support for the O’Malley/Brown vision are strong and continue to grow in Western Maryland. After hearing from both candidates at the Western Maryland Democratic Straw Poll in April, O’Malley earned an overwhelming 108-52 victory over his primary opponent. |
